My Signal thinking system interface

Project 04

SoloPRD-driven

Built for people whose minds move faster than their systems.

A continuity system for founders, writers, and restless thinkers whose minds generate ideas faster than any note app can hold them. Not a task manager — a place to reconnect scattered thoughts and keep momentum without losing the thread.

The problem

The idea came out of building a SaaS product hands-on in a 0→1 course covering creation, launch, and growth marketing.

It isn't only a founder problem. It's sharper for minds that generate ideas faster than any system holds them — competing threads, and no way back to an insight from three weeks ago. The problem was never a lack of ideas; it was fragmentation.

My Signal deliberately isn't badged as an ADHD tool or a second brain. It speaks to the lived experience of a fast-moving mind without labeling it.

How I approached it

  1. Discovery

Wrote a PRD and an ongoing feedback doc — what it was, who it was for, what was required — before touching Cursor.

  2. Build

Started with two core pieces: a landing page and a project-based overview where notes are saved, edited, and reviewed.

  3. Build

Added profiles so entries carried across sessions, moving from on-device storage to a real database.

  4. Build

Layered in payments and invoicing once the structure was locked, then added voice-note capture.

  5. Pivot

Shifted positioning toward fast-moving minds rather than founders, and reworked the landing page so it wouldn't read as AI-template output.

  6. Testing

In use for personal projects; not yet open to other users while usage-based voice costs are worked into pricing.

Result

In use for personal projects, solving the problem it was built for — ideas gathered in one place instead of scattered across notes, memos, docs, and messages to yourself.

Public access follows once the pricing model, including voice-capture usage costs, is finalized.
